Dr. Konjit Hailu has over 20 years of expertise in socially impactful research across various domains. She earned her PhD from Tilburg University in the Netherlands and her MA in Business Administration from Addis Ababa University. Dr. Hailu is deeply passionate about women’s economic empowerment, with a focus on addressing structural and deep-rooted challenges.
Her extensive research portfolio includes ethnographic fieldwork and comprehensive surveys, yielding valuable insights into workplace dynamics, labor conditions, unpaid care work, and other gender issues across sectors. She has collaborated with leading researchers and has been published in esteemed journals such as the Journal of Vocational Behavior and the Journal of Applied Psychology. Additionally, she has contributed to edited volumes on women entrepreneurship, well-being, work-life management, and financial inclusion.
At Includovate, Dr. Hailu serves as a principal researcher, spearheading and participating in research initiatives on gender equality, social inclusion, women’s economic empowerment, unpaid care work, and related issues.
