Andrea Mrazova (she/her)  

Associate Reseracher 

 Andrea Mrazova holds a Master’s degree in law from Czech Republic and another European Master´s  degree in Human Rights from Global Campus on Human Rights, Italy. She worked as a human rights lawyer providing legal counselling to migrants and asylum seekers in NGOs in Czech Republic and Spain.

  She has direct field level experience with victims of human trafficking, unaccompanied children, as well as victims of torture and gender-based violence. She worked as a consultant for UNHCR monitoring conditions of migrants in immigration detention centres and asylum reception centres in Czech Republic. She further worked for Czech Ombudsman’s Office, negotiating legal and policy changes in the area of asylum and migration. She provided research support for various publications of the EU Fundamental Rights Agency. She also worked in Seoul, South Korea researching rights of North Korean refugees.

 She contributed to various publications in the area of human rights and her most recent research on procedural rights of LGBTI asylum seekers in the EU was internationally published as a book chapter by Springer.
