Job Summary:

Includovate seeks an experienced, organized, and self-driven ICT professional to join our team. The ICT officer will play a vital role in contributing to the smooth operations of Includovate’s global workforce by providing support on ICT services and systems. The role will best suit a highly motivated team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills who takes initiative and prioritizes the needs of colleagues.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • ICT Support and Service Delivery: Provide proactive, reliable ICT support by addressing user needs, resolving issues within priority timeframes, and building positive relationships to support client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Issue Mitigation and User Empowerment: Identify recurring support requests and offer solutions to prevent or minimize them through training, user awareness, or configuration changes.
  • Service Improvement and Technology Updates: Stay current with advancements in ICT support services and applications, providing recommendations to enhance service offerings in line with best practices.
  • Technology Evaluation and Deployment: Actively participate in the evaluation, testing, and deployment of new technologies and ICT projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation and effective adoption across the organization.
  • Emerging Technology and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on ICT advancements, research relevant technologies, and assist in their adoption to enhance service quality and efficiency.
  • Policy and Standards Monitoring: Monitor adherence to ICT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Documentation: Maintain and update accurate documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures, ensuring accessibility to relevant stakeholders for reference and consistency.
  • Business Intelligence and Data Analysis Support: Assist teams with data analysis and reporting needs, providing technical support to develop, interpret, and maintain clear visualizations and summaries that facilitate data-informed decision-making.
  • Training and Education: Provide remote employees with training and guidance on the effective and secure use of ICT systems and software applications.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Essential

– Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology / Computer science or related discipline with 4 years or related experience

  • Desirable

    – ICT certifications (e.g. ITIL)

    – Proficiency in Data Analytics Tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Advanced Excel, e.t.c

    – Project management Certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) are an added advantage

    – Experience with project management and CRM systems systems/applications is an added advantage

Skills: 

  • Experience with productivity and collaboration platforms (e.g., Google Workspace or similar suites)
  • Sound technical knowledge of ICT operations
  • Ability to identify technical issues, think laterally, and apply analytical skills to develop effective solutions.
  • Strong customer service orientation, with experience providing technical advice, support, and assistance to staff and management on a range of ICT functions.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize a variety of ICT tasks and project-based activities
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage a diverse group of users on ICT-related matters
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to users and understand their concerns.
  • Organised and dynamic self-starter with strong attention to detail and a focus on career development.

Work conditions: 

  • Work Location: Remote working with excellent flexibility; successful candidates need to have a computer or laptop with a high-speed internet connection.
  • Employment Type: This is a twelve-month contractual full-time position with a very high probability of being extended based on performance and finances.
  • Work hours: Flexible working arrangements apply, with some work falling outside core business hours to accommodate time zone differences.
  •  Remuneration:  We offer competitive remuneration depending on the candidate’s base location and role suitability.
