Dr Francesca is an environmental geographer from the Mediterranean island of Malta. She holds postgraduate degrees from leading UK institutions (University of Leeds and Cranfield University), where she developed specialised expertise in governance, environmental sustainability, and economic development.
Francesca has contributed to European Union initiatives, including in Brussels (DG Environment – Water Unit) and Belgrade (EU Delegation to Serbia – European Integration and Economic Affairs). She has also worked with consultancy firms on multilateral projects across Europe, Africa, Latin America, and Asia, collaborating with key clients such as the European Union, United Nations, Agence Française de Développement, World Bank, and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit.
Currently based in Madrid, Spain, Francesca leads business development efforts at Includovate, where she works with a dynamic team to secure global projects with a strong focus on long-term sustainability.
