Sandhya Shrestha has twenty-five years work experience as Technical Lead/Manager in international development organisations in Nepal. She has spent her career empowering women, delivering inclusive program results and improving the livelihood of many impoverished people.
She is an experienced facilitator and expert in the REFLECT methodology to bring and empower transformative change. In the Raising her Voices program Sandhya drove extensive participatory based activities that led to social, economic and political empowerment for women. Sandhya has a Master’s degree in Anthropology and Gender Studies and currently doing Master of Philosophy in Anthropology.
As a clear, logical thinker with a practical approach to problem solving and a drive to see things through, she aims to leave an inclusive legacy for her homeland. She speaks Nepali and English, Nepal Bhasa (Newari) and Hindi.
