Ramya is a Program Manager at Includovate. She has been working with the development sector, mainly with fishing communities, for more than a decade, specially focusing on managing projects and reporting. Her experience includes working with UN organizations, as well as small non-governmental organizations in different developing countries.
She has graduated from University of Rhode Island, USA with a Masters in Marine Affairs, and a Masters in Ecology from Pondicherry University, India. She has done her Bachelors in Zoology from the University of Madras, India.
Her passion is for collaborative research and inclusive gender-just methods to manage natural resources, especially in the field of marine environment. Her areas of personal research have been in the field of inclusive human-rights based conservation and ecosystem management.
