I am an experienced professional with over 25 years of expertise in monitoring and evaluation, specializing in gender-related issues. Throughout my career, I have accumulated extensive knowledge and skills in this domain, working with various donors and across multiple sectors.

Having a deep understanding of the importance of monitoring and evaluation, I have successfully designed, implemented, and managed comprehensive M&E frameworks for numerous projects and programs. My work has consistently focused on incorporating a gender lens into these frameworks, ensuring that the specific needs, challenges, and opportunities of women and other marginalized genders are addressed effectively.

Moreover, my experience crosses various sectors, encompassing but not limited to education, health, economic empowerment, governance, and social protection. This enables me to proficiently adapt monitoring and evaluation methodologies to the unique dynamics and complexities of different sectors.

Throughout my career, I have continually emphasized the importance of utilizing innovative approaches and tools in monitoring and evaluation, incorporating emerging technologies and participatory methods. By doing so, I try to ensure that gender considerations are effectively mainstreamed into project design, implementation, and impact assessment.

Additionally, I have an extensive background in capacity building and have provided technical support and training to a broad range of stakeholders, including project staff, government officials, civil society organizations, and community members. This collaborative approach has been instrumental in promoting sustainable gender equality outcomes and enhancing overall project effectiveness.

As an advocate for gender equality, I remain committed to continuously advancing my knowledge and skills in monitoring and evaluation methodologies, emerging trends, and best practices. By doing so, I aim to contribute to the development sector’s efforts to promote inclusive and gender-responsive policies, programs, and practices.

Overall, my 25 years of experience in monitoring and evaluating gender-related projects across various sectors and with diverse donors have equipped me with a comprehensive skill set, enabling me to excel in this critical domain. I am passionate about ensuring that gender considerations are effectively integrated into development initiatives, ultimately working towards a more equitable and inclusive world.

I hold Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Jordan.
