“Includovate expertly navigated challenges adapting to the circumstances and maintaining and open communication with ILO While the project faced time delays , Includovate remained focused on maintaining high research quality and providing deliverables that were useful , Meaningful, and in line with ILO’s original terms of reference.“
“In March 2020 most countries started a lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This made data collection very hard. We have been impressed with Includovate’s high standard of work, their creativity of finding new solutions in difficult times, their timeliness and inclusive approach. They have gone above our expectations in completing the assigned deliverables“
“The quality of outputs from the assignment is testament to Includovate’s capacity to deliver on its research and capacity building mandates. They maintain appropriate financial controls that assure “value for money” for all our project expenditures. The reputation of the organization and the diversity of funding and stakeholdership suggests that the organization has been successful in meeting the needs and desires of its stakeholders.“
“I manage a research consulting firm in Ethiopia and attended Dr Kristie’s enumerator training. I have taken many research courses and gender trainings before but her course went deeper. Despite my 16 years of experience, I learnt a lot from her training and thoroughly enjoyed it. I hope I get the chance to participate in another training from her“
“Dr Kristie helped reform the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural research (EIAR) to be more gender inclusive organization. Dr Kristie patiently and consistently helped us to strengthen the research systems to support gender transformative research process and influenced our senior managers on the need for change. EIAR was on the process of balancing women researcher and Dr Kirstie help us building the capacity of new women researchers. EIAR have now gone from 9% women researchers to 20%; she also helped us to revise and develop gender and inclusion strategy and guidelines. What has been most impactful is that our reforms are noticed by others and EIAR is now seen as a role model organization in Africa, and we have secured more funding. Moreover, anyone who has come after Kristie to help us has only reinforced how accurate Kristie’s advice and initiatives were. I strongly recommend Kristie and Includovate to other organizations that need to become more inclusive“
“With other consultants, we have often had to give multiple rounds of feedback on how to improve questionnaires, ask questions in a less leading way, etc.—to the point where we sometimes feel we could have done it better and faster on our own! With Kristie, it was refreshingly different—she did her research ahead of time on how best to measure our project’s women’s empowerment outcomes, and we were able to have an in-depth technical discussion on how best to conduct the study. My colleagues and I were happy with the tools she developed, and felt like we learned a lot in the process.”
